CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWS THE PROGRESS ON RESURGENT RAJASTHAN

Jaipur, 31 August: The Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, Mr CS Rajan reviewed the progress of Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit today in Jaipur. At an inter-departmental meeting, he directed the concerned officers of different departments to ensure that all the arrangements pertaining to the venue, the inaugural function, traffic and security arrangements, beautification of the city, among others are impeccable. Each of these areas were discussed in detail. Principal Secretary, Industries, Ms. Veenu Gupta outlined the overall arrangements and Commissioner, Investment & NRIs, Dr. Samit Sharma gave a Power Point Presentation.

Later, the Chief Secretary reviewed the sector-wise sessions on Smart Cities, Skilling, Mining & Ceramics, Auto & ESDM, Agriculture & Food Proceeding, Regulatory Reforms, Tourism, Health Care and MSME that will be held during the Resurgent Rajasthan. There will also be two country sessions on Japan and Singapore.

Senior officers of different departments and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) were present on the occasion.

About Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit

The Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit, scheduled to be held in Jaipur on November 19-20, 2015, will bring together leading investors from all over the world for interacting with policy makers, including the political leadership, government officials and, local business leaders on the investment environment and opportunities in Rajasthan. The summit is being organized by the Government of Rajasthan in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The summit will have thematic seminars, panel discussions, B2B & B2G meetings and other networking programmes. The state government expects a significant surge in investor interest and definite commitment to invest as a result of the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit.
